A discussion in an online forum began with this statement:

Having been a nudist for 23 years now, and kicked out of a couple of Catholic churches for wanting to do a talk on the subject for their Antioch youth groups when in my early 20's as well as a Pentecostal Christian church, I should like to point out that Jesus did not condemn or condone it.

Human beings were once described as "naked without shame." In their pre-fall condition, they were free from fear of being used, objectified, judged or sinned against in any way, because they had not yet encountered the risk that sin poses to self and others.

Even after the fall, small children, at least the ones in my house, take great delight in escaping their bath and running naked through the house in gleeful freedom.

In a recent discussion I came across the old line that certain biblical books are ‘inaccurate’.

To say they are 'inaccurate' is to suggest that the book fails to measure up to some modern definitions of 'scientific' accuracy as if this were the author's intention.

Married with eight children, I read for work and recreation which results in the current combination of G.K. Chesterton, Orson Scott Card and Terry Pratchet in my backpack. I'm not always certain which is work and which is recreation!
