I am very busy these days with classes, courses and administration tasks so I haven't been able to put much time and effort into posts for a while. I have been wondering about how to tackle the 'victim' culture in classes and came across this article by Theodore Dalrymple. He discusses the culture of victimhood. There is always someone else who 'caused' my anti-social

I am home early from a Father-Son weekend after being evacuated from the bush site due to a class 3 bushfire moving dangerously close to our only road out of the area. Looking out from the 20 metre high absailing wall on top of the hill at about 10am we could see smoke in the distance, but didn't think much of it.
